What exactly is Straelos?
A WordPress plugin. Install it on your own WordPress site and it adds a storefront, checkout, courses, bookings, a community, email and SMS marketing, affiliates and analytics. It replaces a hosted platform like Stan Store, but it runs on a site you own.
Do I need to be technical?
No. A guided setup walks you through connecting Stripe and publishing your first product, and during the beta we do the install for you.
What does the beta cost me?
Nothing for Straelos. You pay for your own hosting and domain, like any website, plus Stripe's standard processing fees on sales. Email marketing and text messages are separate connectors: your email delivery service and Twilio bill you directly, at their own rates.
What does "for life" mean, exactly?
Your licence never expires and never costs anything: not the $399, not any future price. Every update is included, the same as for paying customers. It covers one site, like a paid licence.
Why only five?
We'd rather work closely with five real businesses than skim feedback from five hundred. Every tester gets direct attention from the people building it.
What happens when the beta ends?
Nothing changes for you. You keep your site, your customers and your licence. Straelos goes on sale at $399 for everyone else.
Is there a catch?
It's pre-release software. Expect rough edges, the odd bug or broken thing, and regular updates with new features and fixes. That's the trade. We're also asking for real, honest feedback on what's working and what isn't, and your suggestions for making Straelos a best-in-class plugin.
Do I have to leave my current platform right away?
No. Run both side by side and move at your own pace. A tool to import from Stan Store and other platforms is on the roadmap.
